Welcome to Cool-it, girl. These terms apply when you visit cool-itgirl.com or buy from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you have questions, email info@cool-itgirl.net.
Who we are
Cool-it, girl is a women's clothing boutique based in Santa Rosa, California, run by Cari Mac. "We," "us," and "our" mean Cool-it, girl.
Our products
Colors and photos: We work hard to show every piece accurately, but colors can look different from screen to screen, and natural lighting in photos can vary.
Sizing: Size details are listed on each product page. If you're not sure, email us before you order and we'll help you find your fit.
Handmade and customized pieces: Some pieces, like our embellished hats, are customized by hand. Studs, pins, rhinestones, and other details vary from piece to piece and may not exactly match the photos. That's what makes each one yours, and it's not considered a defect.
Limited quantities: Many pieces are available in small quantities and may sell out. Drops and launch times are announced ahead of time, but availability isn't guaranteed until your order is confirmed.
Prices and payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where required.
We may change prices at any time, but changes don't affect orders already placed.
If a product is listed at the wrong price or with wrong information because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after you've received a confirmation.
Payment is due when you place your order and is processed securely by our payment providers.
Orders
Your order confirmation email means we've received your order, not that it's been accepted. We may cancel or limit any order, for example if an item is out of stock, there's a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we'll refund you in full.
Discount codes and store credit
Discount codes must be used as stated in the offer and can't be applied after an order is placed, unless we say otherwise.
Store credit is issued as an online code to the email address used at checkout. It can't be exchanged for cash.
Shipping
We ship within the United States. Shipping rates, delivery times, and Shipping Protection details are on our Shipping & Returns page. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

Returns, exchanges, final sale items, and how we handle damaged or wrong items are covered on our Shipping & Returns page. That page is part of these terms.
Our content
Everything on this site, including our original graphics and designs, photos, product descriptions, blog posts, logo, and the Cool-it, girl name, belongs to Cool-it, girl or is used with permission. Please don't copy, reproduce, or sell it without our written permission. Of course, you're welcome to share links to our products.
When you tag us
If you tag @cool_it.girl or use our hashtags when you post a photo wearing our pieces, we may ask to share it. We'll always ask for your permission first and credit you.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site. That includes trying to break or disrupt it, using bots to buy up inventory, placing fraudulent orders, or using it for anything illegal.
Disclaimers
We do our best to keep the site accurate and running smoothly, but it's provided "as is." We don't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses that come from using the site or our products, and our total responsibility for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Sonoma County, California, unless the law requires otherwise. If there's ever a problem, please email us first. We'd much rather work it out with you directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here and change the effective date at the top. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
