How to Wear Halloween Without a Costume
Here's my rule for October: if you can only wear it one night, it's a costume. If you can wear it all season, it's a closet. The Halloween Edit is all closet: pieces with a little bite that still work for coffee runs, date night and the office.
1. Start with one spooky piece
Pick one statement piece and let it do the talking. A skull knit, a ghost graphic or a checkered skirt is plenty. Everything else should stay simple: black, cream, denim.
Cryptic Skull Hooded Sweater ($68): cozy, oversized and just creepy enough.
Spooky Chic Ghost Sweater ($59): the cutest ghost you'll ever meet.
Black Cat Energy Sweatshirt ($48): for the girls who know exactly what they are.
2. Let checkerboard be your neutral
Black-and-white check reads as Halloween-adjacent without trying too hard, and it pairs with every graphic in the edit.
3. Go moody with texture
Satin, faux leather and tulle feel a little dark and romantic, very Lydia Deetz. Mix one with a soft knit so it stays wearable.
3 outfits I'd wear right now
Weekend errands: Cryptic Skull Hooded Sweater + jeans + chunky sneakers.
Date night: Vixen Faux Leather Cropped Top + Salem Satin Midi Skirt + boots.
Halloween party (no costume required): Skelly Skull V-Neck Sweater + Diamond Diva Checkered Midi Skirt + Mary Janes.
Every piece is hand-picked and the drops are small, so when it's gone, it's gone.
